Esh Construction to pull out of Carlisle

It will consolidate its Cumbrian operations on a new site in Penrith, and 16 employees are at risk of redundancy. The County Durham firm, which already had a base in Kendal, acquired Border Construction in Burgh Road Industrial Estate, Carlisle, in 2014.

M-Sport wildlife crime charges dropped

Rally firm M-Sport, Northern Developments Ltd of Burgh Road Industrial Estate, Carlisle and Arbor-Tec Limited of St John's Street, Keswick, were accused of intentionally or recklessly damaging or destroying the structure at the M-Sport's Dovenby Hall base.
