Winter gale brings history to the surface

FEBRUARY'S storms uncovered the remains of a coaster wrecked almost exactly 111 years earlier in similar weather conditions. The Daisy, a 66-metre steam coaster, ran on to the rocks below Freathy Cliff in Whitsand Bay, in a storm on February 27, 1903.
