A pub and church worth the journey
From the garden of the Yew Tree public house it is a few steps to the churchyard of St Nicholas, Barfrestone, half way between Canterbury and Dover. The pub was an oasis after a hot hour's walk, but I had come to see the church, for it is unlike any other.
