One of the houses that came to symbolise the devastation caused by a flood which afflicted a Fife community in 2012 has been demolished. The house in Dura Den, near Cupar, had its gable wall swept away by a river of water and was beyond repair.

The road which runs through Dura Den in Fife was destroyed by a deluge of water which also ripped apart a house and flooded several other homes. Since then traffic has been unable to pass through the community on the C45 between Cupar and Pitscottie.
