Emergency crews were called to Drumgay Close at around 8.30am after the blaze took hold in the bedroom. Four fire engines were sent to the scene and firefighters entered the house wearing breathing apparatus and using thermal imaging technology.

The Fire and Rescue Service said they received a call to a property in Enniskillen just before 08.30am this morning (Thursday). The man was found dead in an upstairs bedroom, after fire crews arrived at the house in Drumgay Close, in the Kilmacormick area.
